They both graduated from University of North Carolina Charlotte. He spent his college career playing baseball and even professionally following college. She played college softball. Meeting through mutual friends they quickly became an item.

I met these two at Romere Bearden Park in Uptown Charlotte on a Monday evening. Across the street the Charlotte Knights were warming up for a baseball game at the BB&T Ballpark. It seemed fitting the Knights were playing with Miguel and Natalie’s history. We hit it off immediately and after talking we realized we both attend the same church and have several mutual friends.
