After connecting online, Chrystal and Jay agreed to meet at a brewery for the first time. The brewery was supposed to be centrally located to both of them, but ended up being a farther drive than expected. Since it was winter time, they settled outside the brewery underneath a patio heater. Little did Jay know, Chrystal was intolerant of the cold! After a long drive to meet and getting to know one another in the cold, Jay recalls, “It’s a miracle she let me see her again…” When Jay knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Chrystal he asked her to marry him. However, the proposal happened as Chrystal was taking Jay to meet her parents. Little did her family know they were engaged upon arriving!
